They aren’t cases, they are simply positive tests. The vast majority of positive tested folks have ZERO SYMPTOMS.

Most of this testing is a waste of resources at this point. If you have symptoms warranting treatment then it is time to test. For mild symptoms it does not matter weather it is covid or a bronchial infection or something else. The main purpose of all this testing now is to feed the fear porn. We do not get a daily update that 27000 in AB contracted the common cold today so why the covid?

A friend's mother, 85 years old, came down sick 2 weeks ago. Finally went to see the doc, chest x-rays, tests on lungs, some fluid around her lungs, tested positive for WuFlu.

Diagnosed with pneumonia and bladder infection. Administered antibiotics, improving well now at home, appetite returning.

She had the same respiratory symptoms and health challenges last fall, he said.

Quarantined for 2 wks from start of symptoms. Which is over as of today or yesterday. My friend, who takes care of her, is quarantined for a few more days because of his slightly later exposure date. $5000 fine if he steps off his property.

But yesterday the family doctor called and said that based on her history of respiratory infections and a lack of supporting symptoms, her diagnosis has been changed to not likely COVID.

But in order to have the official initial diagnosis reversed, she would need a retest, which she was not willing to subject herself too.

So, there's another "case" that was likely a false positive that went into our HUGE SPIKE in cases as a positive.

The reported numbers are without any real significance.

The real numbers are what matter and would carry a whole different message than the fear porn that we are being fed.

It would be a fair estimation that, based on the reports of unusual colds, fevers and other symptoms, that the numbers are much higher than are actually being reported.

If it is the Chinese Flu, then the illness is far less hazardous than we are being led to believe.

It can certainly be fatal for the very elderly and those with other compromising conditions.

But the official fatality numbers speak for themselves as evidence that it's a fatal disease for the most vulnerable - the sick and elderly.

But if the Wu Flu were given its deserved status as a bad flu season, the government would have no reason to initiate the GREAT RE-SET.

And this can all happen because the majority of the people of this nation have come to depend on the government to do all their thinking and decision-making for them.

Sheepwheat, not sure what your fascination is with being a non believer, other topics you seem like a pretty smart fellow, this one seems to be a struggle.

Even those with no or few symptoms can spread it to others, why wouldnt we want to know who has it and try and be careful not to multiply the virus?? Do you think its smart to have health care workers, or seniors homes staff, or teachers, food handlers continue as if they are not contagious when they are? I don't. You are anti restriction/lockdown, well testing is what enables those people to go back to work. The more you fight the system the worse the situation is for everyone.

If you still cant see it how about another example do you think they should test blood for HIV before they give you a transfusion? Or only if it comes from those with Aids symptoms? It's the same principle just different virus and application.

I saw a chart the other day showing what the common co-morbidities are. The most common was high blood pressure, just think how common that is. I'm glad you are perfectly healthy, so am I, but I'm still not willing to kill off friends and family by being selfish. Lots more younger deaths and hospital admissions in AB in recent days.

Part of the issue, is I look at the whole picture, of where who stands on things. I also dig deep on every issue, and often am contrarian in nature, part of who I am I guess. Multiple sources needed in everything.

IE lgbtqgtdgdeh agenda, climate change, now COVID. I like to know all sides, and when the media feeds one side fully, I have to dig deeper and see why that is. Simple google searches show fauci for example in May, stating masks do nothing, but make people feel better. Danish study shows that mask wearing does almost nothing to prevent spread. The great dr. Hodkinson (sp), from Edmonton doubles down that this is gross and overblown, a doctor even gormley refuses to have on his show. Because he’s contrarian. Like Tim Ball on climate change, he gets no coverage, other than that he is a quack and wrong!

Those who show a positive test, if not symptomatic, are shown to not be very contagious. The mask mandate has not helped an iota. A “case” is not a case, as per scientific medicine, if it is non symptomatic. But somehow, a positive test is a “case”, and suddenly masks are the bomb?

It’s much like climate change. The media and the left, which are synonymous, push a slanted agenda, tricking humans into believing their narrative. Fear sells, benign weather, benign diseases don’t. Total overall deaths in the us for example, have not gone up. Just fewer ppl died of heart disease, and other causes, and filled that gap is Covid. Even if these same people probably would have died anyway, the cause of death becomes covid.

Climate change? We must mandate a tax on a benign gas that the supposed majority of experts say is causing alarming ice thinning etc.

Covid? We must wear masks and do everything we can to alleviate this dreadful disease that is recovered from by 99% of the people, because the “experts” now say masks work wonders, even though before they stated masks can not block viruses, and only make ppl feel better.

It is a rare day, that the cbc, CTV, or most outlets come up with something that I can take stock in and accept as reality. If the first people I see wearing masks, and pushing for idiotic laws that infringe on my rights as a citizen of a free country, are ultra leftists like Biden and Trudeau, it gives me serious pause.

Climate change. It exists. But it is overblown.

Covid. It exists. But it is overblown.

It is actually extremely disgusting how this has all gone down.

One fact editing truth is that daily we HEAR X # cases positive, however the media NEVER add that THOSE #'s are a week OLD. Why make it sound like the test results are all known the same day? Editing truth for effect.

It is the number of positives and the number in the hospital that is the issue.
121 are not in the hospital cause they have a sniffle.

There is the potential for 4/day to expire from/with COVID for a ways into the future.

Out of the 10,000 or so deaths from covid, only about 300 were not associated with LTC facilities.

Do you guys even know who is in our LTC homes? These are aged folks with a lot of comorbidities, they are often infirm or barely mobile, confined to wheelchairs or limited mobility around the facility.

This is not your average 70-80yr old you see on the street dropping over from this disease.

Its not at all surprising a virus is taking out our most vulnerable. Their immune systems are half what a younger persons is and its even suspect a vaccine will do much for that group anyway. I would be those companies arent using 80yr olds as test subjects. Judging by the reactions some of the test subjects had, the vaccine might kill people in this older age category.
